diva-e Textprovider GmbH (“TP”) takes data protection very seriously and will only access and make use of personal data in accordance with prevailing data protection legislation. For TP, using personal data sensitively and responsibly is a fundamental part of professional company activity. TP guarantees that no data will be passed on to unauthorised third parties.

Your data will only be accessed and saved if you have given your consent to TP. You will be informed by TP by e-mail of any changes to data protection legislation. Should you not agree with the latest terms, you can revoke your consent within two weeks. During this period, the amendments will not affect you.


1. Registration data

If you would like to work on projects in our editing system, you must register as a member. During this process, TP will ask you for some personal information. The data that TP needs to accept you as member in our editing system are appropriately highlighted. You must provide an e-mail address as this is the primary means of communication. In addition, a telephone number is required for urgent queries and to facilitate the processing of tasks and communication between TP and users.


2. Use of your data

TP uses your personal data to make the chosen application available to you. TP is also permitted to use your personal data for its own marketing use (newsletter; credit notes; advertising etc.) as well as to ensure the quality and improvement of its service.

Your personal data will only be saved, processed and used if you expressly agree to this in writing. TP records your agreement to the processing and saving of data. If the usage or service is time limited, then TP will delete your data on completion. We do, however, under certain circumstances such as a legal dispute, investigation of errors or the fulfilment of our company’s conditions, reserve the right to retain personal data even if you have requested it be removed. In addition, for legal and technical reasons, old information will only be completely removed from our data bank twenty (20) years after initial saving, including storage in back-up systems.


3. The provision of data to third parties/credit rating

TP only uses your data directly or through related organisations defined by § 15 AktG and, apart from its own marketing purposes (newsletter; credit notes; advertising etc.), only in so far as is required to provide the internet platform or to carry out the contractual relationship. The use for marketing purposes will only occur after receipt of your express agreement to this.

In addition, data will be passed on to third parties so far as this serves the processing of completion of tasks through our editing system. This includes passing on contact data to persons or organisations, which provide parts or functions of the service portal, e.g. the processing of a payment system.

A few of our services are offered in partnership with other organisations. In order to offer this partnership arrangement, it is necessary for TP to inform these partner organisations of your personal data. The data will, however, only be used to carry out the application or service with TP’s partner. If data is collected by any organisation other than TP and/or administered by them, TP will inform you.

Every member of our editing system is required to use information provided only for processing the contract.


4. Use of cookies

A cookie is a small piece of data that a website or web server sends to your web browser to be stored there as an anonymous observer, which recognises your PC system, but not you personally.

Our editing system uses so-called session cookies, to accelerate the log-in process so that for every visit to the home page you do not have to log in again. The information is saved in the cookies, which allows us to recognise whether and with which user name your PC system is registered in our editing system. It is up to you whether you accept cookies. If not, you must enter your log-in information every time you visit.


5. Security of your data

TP makes every effort to protect your data from unauthorised interception. With the assistance of a system of access authorisation and technical protection measures, such as SSL-cryptographic protocols, the greatest possible data protection is guaranteed. The input of your registration details, your account details, your profile information as well as all other data for contact with other users only takes place within our editorial system after switching over to a particularly secure SSL connection.


6. Note on Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc (“Google“).  Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, text data, which is stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website.

The information produced by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website and to produce reports about the website activities for the website publisher. It also provides additional services connected with the website and Internet usage. Google could also pass on this information to third parties when legally permitted or when third parties work on this information for Google.  Google will not bring your IP address into contact with other data at Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies with an appropriate adjustment of your browser software. However, we should like to point out that in this case you would not be able to fully use all the functions of this website. By using this website, you agree to the processing of the data about you by Google in the ways described above and the use of this information as indicated above.


7. Privacy policy for the use of Facebook plug-ins (Like button)

There are plug-ins of the social media network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, incorporated into our pages. You will recognise the Facebook plug-ins by the Facebook logo or the “Like button” (“Gefällt mir”) on our page. Through this, Facebook receives information that you have visited our website using your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “Like button” while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Facebook profile. We should like to point out that we, as provider of the website, have no knowledge of the content of the transferred information or its use through Facebook. 8. Privacy policy for the use of Google +1

The collecting and passing on of information: With the assistance of the Google +1 button you can publish information worldwide. You and other users will receive personalised content from Google and our partners about Google + 1. Google saves the information that you have given for +1 content, as well as information about the pages which you have viewed by clicking on the +1 button. Your + 1 can be referred to together with your profile name and your photo in Google services such as search results or in your Google profile or other places on websites and advertisements in the Internet.

Google records information about your +1 activities to improve the Google services to you and others. To use Google +1, you need a public Google profile visible worldwide that, as a minimum, must contain the selected name of the profile. This name will be used for all Google services. In some cases, this name can also replace another name which you have used to share content through your Google account. The identity of your Google profile can be advertised to users who know your e-mail address or know other identifiable information about you.

Use of the information collected: Apart from the usages explained above, the information supplied by you will be used in accordance with the prevailing Google data protection rules. Google may publish compiled statistics about the +1 activities of users or pass these on to users and partners such as publishers, advertisers or allied websites.


9. Cancellation rights

At any time, you can withdraw your agreement to the storage of your personal data in writing or electronically in accordance with § 4 Abs. 3 TDDSG (Teleservices Data Protection Act). Furthermore, you can, at any time, withdraw your agreement with TP to access and save further voluntary data. You can find contact information in the imprint section.

In the case of the withdrawal of your agreement regarding the saving and processing of your data, TP can terminate the access to contract work in our editing system. Information about news, new items and related offers can then no longer be accessed.

You also have the option to cancel the newsletter and publicity mailings separately. For this, you can either use the link at the end of the newsletter or publicity mailing or send us an e-mail. Information about news, new and interesting services will no longer be send. You can, however, continue accept and select work and contracts.
